Hv some problem here, recently i bought HL2 from PC Gamer. I encountered this problem.
At first the installation went smoothly and then i registered using STEAM apps.
After the game has been succesfully updated, i try to run HL2, then the so called
'intelligent' program ask me to update Direct X9.0c.
Fair enough, i update my Direct X, when i try to run the game again, the game ask me to update the Display driver, so i just follow the instruction. So i went to nVidia website and download the latest driver.
Heh... talking about software beurocracy.
So, after nearly 3 days updating all the ****ing driver in my computer, the ****ing game still won't run. I already run out of options, and run out of my patience.
So.. Pleasssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee somebody who ever experience this kind of problem, please help.
