A while back i installed rome total war on my pc and it was running smoothly and there was no errors. After i'ved upgraded my OS from a windows ME to a Windows XP pro suddenly my rome total war has problems like missing textures and the men on the map are missing their horses lol and plus on the campaign map theres no water at all!!! It looks like europe is surrounded by desert.... can anyone help?
my specs: AMD Anthlon 801mhz 576MB of ram
geforce 4 MX
even though my specs are low but it was running okay before i installed windows xp. I tried reinstalling my graphic card and i have the latest update for it but it still wont work...i ved tried everthing....

hmm...for rome:total war...i think your computer system aren't quite strong enough to play the game...
guest it's time to you upgrade the computer hardware

about your processor clock, well..not every mobo can display accurate speed...1-10Mhz different is quite normal...
compared with my old p3 550Mhz..which it'll auto jump to 333, or 777Mhz..haha..heh

Maybe XP takes up more of your system resources, thus leaving Rme with less to use.A better rig is the only remedy then.Cos XP also takes up more RAM and Vedeo memory.

i am also thinking the same thing as AnD BUT it might be driver issues as that has also been apparent as well. have an update and lets see.
