i think all of you can help me to solve this problem. Such games like GTA:Vice City and Prince Of Persia series will need play cd to be insert, it will makes the games progress become slower and the the loading time is long enough for me to make coffee for my self. Sometimes i thought that we can do something with it but i didnt know how to make it, i'm not a hacker. So, i hope you can help me how to make some games play with no cd.

agreed..if u wanna discuss cracking methods its best u do it by sending each other personal messages..hell hath no fury when it comes to the moderators and administrators response regrding the said topic..

But hey, this a way to help those people out there that have broken CDs or just impatient to wait for the long loading times. If you said by PMing each other, how would they know who to PM those who knows how to make/get the crack.

Why don't you use CD emulators instead? The program tricks the software into thinking that you actually have the CD in the drive.

However, that trick works when you have the image file of the CD. Mind you that only original discs can be use to make image files.

Cracking, yes, can be used for the type of people who "are too lazy to put their Disc Ones into the CD drive"

But, who are we kidding?

Actually, some games can be played without CD without using any cracks or hacking. Just copy some important files from the CD to the folders where you install the game. But of course, it wont work for most games especially if the game have been patched/modded.

I don't know why, and I don't know how.

I'll give you an example.

These are the files you need to look out for:
-sound files
-data execution files
-some other related files, varies with games

After you copied the files to the game folder, mess about with the register-thing files. Make a backup first if you think you'll gonna mess things up.

The most thing you need to remember is, each game is different. Some games only needs the sound files while some all of the files in the CD. And again, not all games work with this method.

cracking is very legal but at this circumstances of pirate stuff using cracks we unfortunately cant allow that. however you can use sofware such as virtual drive/alchohol 120%. They of course take a lot of space but you dont have problems of using cracks.
