In the series drama CSI, they are using Nikon camera. Any idea what model and lens they are using?

heheh..You too?? ...I think CM have a pic some where in de forum. Forget where aredy..but i think they used D200 and kit lens if not 18-100mm..correct me if in wrong...

Actually if you guys have watched Superman Returns, the reporter is using D2Xs as well.

what do u guys think? are they really using Nikon in the actual world? or just because nikon sponsor CSI the camera?

In the show, i think it is sponsored.

In the real world, it may differ from a show, may be.

for the lens, my guess would be a macro lens from nikkor cause they used to shoot a lot of small stuff

Actually they are using the 18-55mm DX lens. The kit lens from the D50. Not even the 18-55mm DXII from D40.

Its for show only. They don't really take pictures with it. All they needed was a big bulky body to make it look professional and then just stick on a cheap lens to cut cost
