This is my spec:
P4 2.0 ghz
512 ddr 400
Geforce 6200 tc
WIll it run on my pc? HOw high can the settings go?

well my com is
1.3ghz AMD duron
768 RAM
ATI RADEON 9600 SE
I played through the game on low settings
but alittle more ram should help
try downloading a mem enhancer

wel, seriously u cant expect much from ur system..
here's my recommendation..
1) play it at 800x600 res
2) try medium settings 1st, if framerate stil unplayable, then change it to low
3) disable antialiasing, anisotropic filtering,vertical sync and advanced effects HDR etc
u can get more info abt in game settings from www.tweakguides.com

well my pc is worse...
2.6 Ghz Pentium $
768 RAM
and the most worse part is my NVIDIA 5500...
thanks to OLDBLIIVION i can play it with texture:big, distance land on,building on everythis is change to high...
try search it OLDBLIVION...it makes oblivion run on pc with graphic card that are lack of 2.0 shader

I already suggested in my above post lol. It tones down the texture and shaders,completely disabling Shader Model 2.0.

I believe that it will run and is playable but you won't really be able to enjoy the splendour of Oblivion. Unfortunately, TES:O (like many other games these days) require high-end gaming machines if you wanna watch the graphics in detail, and TES:O is certainly one of those games which deserves a PC upgrade.
I just stick to playing the game on my XB.

Its laggy in oblivion,so can i do anything to "cure" this prob?Iuse oldlivion but still....its still quite laggy......

Yeaqh, anyway i used oldlivion and it seems to corrupt my bios......anyone had this problem too with oldlivion?
Cause whenever i play a game nor start my comp...a blue screen appear and says something about dummping memory....

That's your RAM, not BIOS. Your RAM is having problems with Oldlivion.
