Windows couldn't start files corrupt

On the black screen i received this msg:

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt :
<Window root>\System32\hal.dll
Please reinstall a copy of the above file.

If anyone got any ideas or solutions,just hit me back.Dis shit cause by sum trojans inside my pc.

Since you have mention that it is a trojan attack then you need to get an antivirus to remove it or you can go by the easy way is reformat the whole thing and reinstalling your windows again.....

May I know which game you were facing trouble with? smile.gif Anyhow, if you've reinstalled and it still couldn't work, maybe the hal.dll file from the source is already corrupted smile.gif

And yeah, try to use my hal.dll file smile.gif

This thread shuld be moved to the Software section .

Copy the hal.dll 555_666 mentioned into the windows folder .
