HL2 singleplayer mission problem... should i report it to valve..?

i can get through the 1st mission in HL2..i just run into a blurr...thing when im in the cannal on my boat...and theres 1 part where the scenery just skip itself...is it the instalation problem? unsure.gif

The first question I would ask: Are you using original HL2?

If you reply yes to the above question, then try reinstalling the game or patch it completely via Steam.
