recently I'm buying new GC, Leadtek A400GT (Nvidia Geforce 6800GT 256MB),
After install it on my PC, updating the driver to version 77.50, I got slower frame rate in NFSU2.(even in lowest detail settings...)

I don't know what cause this but when I'm try installing 66.93 drivers, it run smooth, but the other problem, emerged, my PC is not stable and crash when open other applications than games.

Is this the problem with the game or just my drivers are faulty? Please let me know if you know how to solve this...

It's the drivers. No other reason cos the problem only arises when you change drivers.I suggest trying to find a version thats newer than the 66.93 but older than the 77.50

Getting it directly from nVidia's website? maybe it'll be better who knows eh? Kinda weird oso...how come driver can cause problems like these...or is the card itself faulty, check with the card...hm?

My GC is still new, don't tell me the card faulty coz other games run smoothly... ^__^

If it helps, 77.77 is out. See if that remedies the problem.

I'm using 71.89, and the problem still occur, upgrade it to 77.50, not change anything... and now 77.77, it still can't resolve the problem...
(wanna cry already...) or is it the problem with directx or something?

I'm using Creative SoundBlaster PCI 4.1, (yeah, its cheap replacment for my faulty mobo sound chip), I installing the driver from the cd but other games like FIFA 2005 doesn't produce sound when I tune the hardware accelaration to full, but fine in basic, so I don't use the driver provided in the cd, instead, I'm using windows xp built in driver.

I don't know, should I update my sound card driver? If yes, anybody know where to find it?

6800?
You need to update your NFSU2 into latest version (1.2) as it contains update that rectify problems with 6800 cards. happy.gif
