cant play LAN on Starcraft.. help...

hey guys, just need some assistance on how to operate LAN connection for the game...i have 2 pcs connected to each other..and when i click on the Local Area Network(IPX) in the game, it gave me this message saying that its 'unable to initialize network provider'...wat does this mean, and how do i connect to it?

sweat.gif its kinda bothering me, too. Its the same when i try doing that with C&C: Tiberian SUn. Maybe it needs a pc to be a dedicated server. i dunno.......
