HAlf life 2 prob.... AI disabled?????

Heck...why whem i load the game...a message saying...AI disabled appears?The game work well before....and i was Able to fight a very good Ai at that stage.....so how to solve the prob??????

Note:No,its no pirated,its ori,got it as a birthday gift from my uncle.

Did you use any modification file that comes with its configuration? (like a remodelled Combine that uses custom script) I had this problem too, resolved it by installing the game file again smile.gif

And also, just add "AI_disable 0" in autoexec.cfg

U mean reinstall to whole game???????

Also.....how to write"add "AI_disable 0" in autoexec.cfg"sorry..cause i am a noob..so plss tell me how step by step....

Reinstalling the game is your last resort, and it's the best as it fixes everything wrong smile.gif

Just search autoexec.cfg using Windows Search, and just add a line "AI_disable 0" (without the quotes, of course)

Yeah, since autoexec.cfg will be executed everytime a new game session is loaded up. Have you made sure that there is no custom script?

It's a special script (cfg file) comes with custom model/sprites/GUI/etc. For example, you want an idle Combine to smoke a cigg (which it doesnt ), a script can be obtained from the net, so replacing custom script may be affecting the gameplay.

Well, looks like reinstalling would best work for you (it only takes 10-15 minutes only, it doesnt really bother you)

I dont know, since:

1) I'm an original game supporters
2) Buying an original game is really worth it. They so-called 'myth' "Why must pay hundreds just for bunch of numbers (serial key)?" is really a myth. With original game, your gaming performance and experience would be a sweet one smile.gif

Regarding your question, there is a way, but it'll go against the forum rules if it were to be discussed here smile.gif

PS:PLssssss dont ban me okay?CAuse that my HL2 is really ori but this prob does not seem to be solveable...

Reformat ya HD. Follow the instruction to install the following drivers:

Direct-x, graphic driver, mobo (or chipset) driver, sound then others.

Note that DO NOT , access to Internet without PROPER tools such as Anti-virus, Firewall, Adaware/spyware remover.

Then install the game. Don't do anything else. Just install it.
